Bible Study Opportunities
Spiritual growth is not as much about "doing" as it is about "becoming" -- becoming more like Christ. It's a life-long adventure that takes patience, commitment, and intention. It's not "what" we become, but "who" we become that matters. The Christian life is about becoming a friend of Jesus. It's about letting the Holy Spirit change us from the inside out.
As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more. (2 Corinthians 3:18b NLT)
One way the Spirit changes us is through the Bible. Often, the deeper we dig into Scripture, the better we come to know God. It's not that Scripture knowledge alone changes us, it's that through Scripture the Holy Spirit shows us God.
